If you tend to worry continually, restrict yourself to half an hour each day. This should be the only time you allow yourself to think about the things that are worrying you.

During this time write down whatever concerns you have, and evaluate them – are they justified, can you see a solution, what would help you to stop worrying so much?

If you find yourself worrying during the rest of the day say to yourself, “I’ll think about that later.”

#3 Do something you enjoy

Make time for yourself to relax and unwind every day – even if it’s just for 10 minutes. Perhaps you could listen to your favourite music, take a relaxing bath, or read a book.
